Update: July - September, 2017Bledar Valca (affectionately known as Bledi) was born and reared in a predominantly Roman Catholic community in northeastern Albania. There, he became a WEI postal student and was baptized into Christ in the mid-1990s.

Quarterly Update: April - June, 2017In the first quarter of this year we hosted WEI Internet Student Receptions in 3 capital cities of the world: Bucharest, Romania; Tirana, Albania; and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This model is used to make personal contact with thousands of WEI Internet students who reside in a single urban area.

Quarterly Update: October - December, 2016Lee Allen, WEI Director of Development and Teacher Support, spent two weeks in Albania late last summer and came home floating “on cloud nine.” Lee later sent an e-mail that pulsates with excitement and inspiration.

Quarterly Update: July - September, 2016The Keizer Church of Christ, Keizer, Oregon, conducted a successful six-week campaign in Yangon, Myanmar this summer. The team consisted of eight members of the Keizer Church (Leon Haight, Bill Zoerner, Roger Elliott, Dick and Pam Haines, Joann Matson, and Darren and Melody Williamson), three members from the Lobster Valley church.

Quarterly Update: January - March, 2016Since January 1, 2016, more than 5,000 potential students gave registered to study on the WEI website. As of this writing, 1996 have submitted answers to the Introductory Lesson and have started their lessons.

Quarterly Update: October - December, 2015On November 1, 2015, Lee Allen (elder, family man, and missionary at heart) joined the WEI staff as Director of Development and Support.
For twenty-two years, Lee worked for Tennessee Valley Authority rising in rank from Accounting Officer to Senior Manager of Accounts Payable. -

Quarterly Update: January – March 2015Recently, I was blessed to personally visit Vijayawada, India and many of the WEI teachers and brothers and sisters involved in a very fruitful effort called WEI – India. This work began in 2007 under the direction of an Indian preacher named Prabhu Kumar.

Quarterly Update : October - December, 2014Willy Yuda, WEI teacher in Mbeya, Tanzania, writes, “We conducted two seminars this month and had seven restorations and two baptisms.” Willy and his coworkers, Jastin and Absalom, are teaching about a dozen students in their Tanzania World English Institute school, and God is giving the increase.
