Dick Ady

Founder of WEI
Richard N. (Dick) Ady, the Founder and President Emeritus of World English Institute was born on a farm near Elmer, Oklahoma June 22, 1931. He was baptized into Christ on January 13, 1944 at Lexington, Oklahoma. He preached his first sermon at Hatch, New Mexico in 1950 and has been preaching, teaching, and writing ever since.

Family History:

Reared by a godly Christian mother, Christine Howell Ady
Met Maudine Foster at Abilene Christian College, fell in love and married her June 2, 1955. Daughter, Deborah June Ady (now Henry), was born in Corpus Christi, TX November 10, 1957. Son, Richard II (Rick), was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico September 13 1963.
Dan and Debbie Henry have three daughters and a son who have given us eleven great grandchildren including two by adoption. God has blessed our family with lots of love, and we are gateful.
