Message from the Langleys
I’m very pleased to report that we have filled all of our summer teams with teachers, except the city of Logoj. We are presently looking for 2 week or 4 week teachers to comprise a small team for Lugoj. We have no teacher commitments at the time of this writing. The dates that we are now considering are July 18–August 12
Ten teachers are already confirmed for Albania this summer. Five teachers are currently finishing up a mission in Taiwan. We have recently had discussions with church leaders in Finland, Colombia, and Brazil about future short-term missions in those countries. WEI teachers are traveling to Cambodia year around working with Bill McDonough and Partners in Progress in the English Bible School in Phnom Penh.
For more information about short-term missions, please contact Tom Langley at the WEI Eastern Office. His email address and telephone number can be found on page one of this newsletter.
Thank You
We want to say thank you to all of our supporters while recognizing two very special church families in this newsletter.
The Tenth St. Church of Christ in Opelika, Alabama will be sending 15 WEI teachers for the 5th straight summer to Oradea, Romania. The love they have for the lost, and the commitment they have to the Christians in Oradea is so clearly demonstrated by their consistent sacrifice of time, money, and energy.
The North Stafford, Virginia Church of Christ will be sending 14 teachers to the Constanta, Romania Church of Christ for their first WEI short-term mission. North Stafford and Constanta consider themselves one family of God, temporarily separated by a little geography.
WEI is honored, grateful, and overjoyed to be partnering with the Tenth St. and North Stafford churches of Christ in short-term missions this summer. —Tom and Angie Langley
