In September, we received an e-mail from Geoffrey Nyaboga, a young preacher in the Kisii region of southwestern Kenya. He had run across the WEI web site and was eager to use our materials in his local outreach ministry.
Geoffrey has virtually no income, but he is a dedicated, selfless evangelist who weeps over the lost souls in Kenya. Since he first contacted us in September, he has taught and baptized at least six students.
Geoffrey is a graduate of the Andrew Connally School of Preaching in Tanzania, a school affiliated with Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, Colorado. Daniel Gaines, one of Geoffrey’s former Bear Valley teachers, wrote to me saying, “I remember Geoffrey as a good student.”
Even though Geoffrey is busy preaching for a small congregation, evangelizing door-to-door, and teaching in a small Bible school several days a week, he is also working toward a Master of Divinity Degree from Bear Valley.
Geoffrey writes, “The congregation here is small, and it is currently not supporting me. I am surviving through God’s will, and it’s my prayer that I and you can accomplish much through his love. Right now, brother, I am enduring hardships with no support, and I am looking for a congregation to oversee my work. God is good, and we are telling people the truth to set them free.”
“Please pray for the Lord’s work here. We leave everything to the Lord. The moment we rely on him is the moment our plans come to pass, bro!!”
“I am prepared to work with WEI and save the lost souls. May the Lord be honored as we work together. I need nothing other than a sponsoring church that will help me with food, water, clothing, and shelter—the necessities of life that Jesus promised his followers in the Sermon on the Mount. Our Father knows we leave everything to Him through prayer. How glad it will be, brother, when one day our heavenly Father will say, ‘Well done, my children.’”
