Aniefiok Akpan writes, “Several of our WEI students attended the thanksgiving services. Two of them, Nduese Monday John, and Nseobong Aniedi Sunday accepted Christ and were baptized on January 01. Nseobong, who carries a four-month old pregnancy was so angry with her husband when he accepted Christ sometime ago. Her anger turned into great joy when she stood before the congregation to confess Christ. Nduese traveled all the way from Port Hacourt in Rivers State to attend the thanksgiving. What a great way to begin the year 2011. We anticipate more baptisms among our WEI students this year.
“Our WEI Office and Teaching Center in Abak is fast becoming a regional office of WEI in the West Africa sub-region. By God’s special grace, we were able to extend the tentacles of our WEI Ministry to Cameroon where several souls have been saved as a result of that effort.
“With the support of the Northside (Hanceville, AL) church, we have initiated our WEI ministry in Sierra Leone. Presently, we are working on sending WEI Introductory lessons to prospects in Gambia, Liberia, and South Africa.”
