In the January issue of Update, William (Bill) Morgan was featured as “Mr. WEI.” That title was no exaggeration. He and his wife Mozelle have been crucial to the life of World English Institute since 1991.
On August 20, Bill fell, hit his head, and expired–leaving behind Mozelle, his beloved wife of sixty years, their daughter Sue Ann, her husband Scott Mills, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Bill was 83.
Bill Morgan, our beloved friend, and fellow-soldier has been promoted to glory. Bill has served the Lord as an elder, Bible teacher, preacher-trainer, missionary, and, as a member of the WEI board of directors. He fought a good fight; he finished the race, and he kept the faith. His treasure in heaven is indestructible, secure, and everlasting.
Stars are glistening in his crown of righteousness.
From our point of view, Bill’s departure has left a huge hole in our hearts; but in heaven, Bill’s arrival on Tuesday, September 20, was joyfully celebrated as Homecoming Day. We grieve, but not as those who have no hope.
Bill loved WEI as a unique tool that God has provided for spreading the good news about Christ to every man, woman, and young person on Earth. Bill would want us to keep the fires of WEI burning until the gospel engulfs the Earth.
