Steven Prine, veteran WEI Internet teacher, has some exciting news to share.
Steven writes, “Peter Manut Lual is one of my students in South Sudan. I just found out through Robert Thurman that he [Peter] has accepted Jesus through baptism and is now our brother in Christ! I believe he is the man in the yellow shirt.”
Steven continues, “I taught Tristan Day almost two years ago in the Philippines. I asked Erben Gonzales and Christian Corpus to baptize him. Tristan stayed in touch for a while, and then I did not hear from him for a long time. I got word that he had gotten discouraged and had quit attending.
“Well, here is the good news. Chistian Corpus has made contact with Tristan and has been tutoring him, Now he is faithful again. But that is not all. He is now serving as one of the ministers in a church of Christ closer to where he lives and is very active. Isn’t God great! Tristan is in the blue shirt, and Christian Corpus has his arm around Tristan’s shoulder.”
